HISTORY OF THE THEATER
Founded in 1980 by Miguel-Angel Lopez and Junji Fuseya - master of the ancestral arts Noh, Kabuki and Onnagata - the Théâtre du Temps was originally the only Japanese theatre in France. For twenty years, it was a major venue for the dissemination of Japanese theatre, mixing traditional Japanese art and Western creation.
Des transformations architecturales et techniques majeures
Afin d’améliorer ses capacités d’accueil et d’optimiser l’expérience du public et des artistes, le Théâtre du Temps connaît plusieurs évolutions :

2018 et 2019 : Travaux de traitement, d'insonorisation et d’isolation acoustique, et création d’un accès à l’éclairage naturel.

2019 et 2020 : Transformation de l’espace grâce à l’installation de praticables amovibles, offrant une modularité scénique totale et agrandissement de l'espace bar.

2021 et 2022 : Installation d’un système de spatialisation sonore 3D, positionnant le théâtre parmi les pionniers de l’immersif en France. Ce dispositif permet une expérience sonore en 360°, totalement inédite dans un théâtre parisien.
