The Théâtre du Temps is one of the very first places to offer the sound spatialization system dedicated to live performances.
Qu'est-ce que c'est ?
Spatialization consists of locating and moving sounds in space , and modulating, through psychoacoustic effects, our perception of sound sources.
This technology recreates the presence of voices, instruments, noises and other sounds in the real environment around us.
SPAT Revolution Software
With SPAT Revolution software and the 11.1 ID NEXO series speaker layout, the theatre offers unprecedented creative possibilities:
A new area of creation, with 360° sound management to place the viewer at the heart of the sound environment and segment the stage
A localized rendering in a fair and pure manner across the whole of the room.
Consistency between visual and audio on set.
A possibility of transforming the acoustics of the room in a coherent and realistic way (church, train station hall, cavern, etc.), during a show.
Its use
Sound spatialization will be used for multiple creations and immersive productions , such as:
